A teacher’s to-do list is never-ending. In fact, we think “Teacher busy” should be its own adjective. Therefore, to get things done you have to embed them into your classroom systems and procedures. Here are some tried-and-true ways to make LiveSchool a part of your day-to-day:
1. Keep it simple
Identify the times during the day/class when you can award points. Typically, it’s the beginning, middle, and end. Award points when you submit attendance, then again during a transition, and finally while students are packing up. And when it’s just not happening, remember that you can award the points later and backdate them. Here’s how →
2. Assign a helper
Create a classroom job called LiveSchool Secretary that can award the points for you. Tell the secretary which students and points to award while they put it into a tablet or on your computer.
