Back-to-school season is in full swing and this email is packed with helpful tips and resources for starting the school year off strong with LiveSchool. 💪

Manage Rosters 🏫

Grouping students into rosters is key to making it easier to use LiveSchool in your classroom. Since your LiveSchool site is set up via automatic sync, you should see all rosters that are connected to you in your school’s information system.

Things to remember:

• Hide any roster that you do not need. Here’s how —>
• Create a roster for any group of students that you see (i.e. club, lunch group, intervention, etc.)
• Share a roster with co-teachers and teammates. Learn how —>
• You have access to award points to ALL students in your school. So, when you see a student picking up trash in the hallway or cafeteria, give them a shout-out and use the search icon to award them points! 🔍

Adding Comments 📝

Providing specific praise is super beneficial to helping your students learn.

When awarding a point:

1. Tell the student(s) why they are receiving the point.
2. Add a comment to the point in LiveSchool to:
   1. Communicate with Parents/Guardians
   2. Support student learning
   3. Give context to Administrators
   4. Keep all teachers in the loop

Logging In 🔑

Use the Forgot Password link on the login screen to reset your password. If you don’t receive an email from LiveSchool with a link to reset your password, then reach out to your school’s LiveSchool Administrator to make sure we have the correct email on file.

Also, your LiveSchool Administrators have the ability to reset your password if needed.

The first few weeks of school can be A LOT. Everyone is learning new rules and procedures, and, most importantly, getting to know one another.

Awarding points for positive behavior can help by:

1. Increasing Student Motivation
2. Ensuring Objectivity
