LiveSchool Community Update for Site Leaders

Hi Site Leader,

Another school year is in the books - or almost depending on where you live - and the LiveSchool Community was busy sharing fun reward ideas, hosting engaging webinars, and posting successes on social media.

Before you head off for Summer, we want to highlight a few things to ensure your transition for the next school year goes smoothly.

Announcements!

1. Your community points will be cleared.

This year, we launched the LiveSchool Community Points program with our school Site Leaders and had SO MUCH FUN!

You currently have 0 points to spend!

Similarly to how we handle clearing school site data, we will be clearing your LiveSchool Community Points bank account on July 1st. Therefore, any points remaining in your personal LiveSchool bank account will vanish and everyone will start from 0 for the new school year.

Make sure you use your points now before they go away! Start Shopping →

2. Download your 22-23 data.

We highly suggest saving your data from this school year by downloading it before July 1st. Read how →

3. We improved Points Logs!

Points Logs in LiveSchool are a great way to save historical data or run your own custom reporting. Points logs now include Rewards purchases data! Also, if you sync data from Clever, you’ll see student and staff IDs from your SIS listed on your Points Logs. Learn how to view Points Logs →

Your Vision Board for 23-24 💡

The Summer is a great time to reflect, regroup, and plan for a strong start to the new year with LiveSchool. We’ve compiled a list of things for you and your team to discuss:

1. Give voice to all your stakeholders.

Get feedback from your students, staff, and parents on what’s going well and where they see areas for improvement. You can use these survey links to get their opinions!

  • Student
  • Staff
  • Families

2. Reflect and revise your rubric and point systems.

Using the feedback from the surveys and your own data reflection, identify areas for improvement:

  • Is your current system fitting your needs?
  • Were there gaps in data this year that you can better track in LiveSchool?
  • Are teachers struggling with tracking all of the behaviors?
  • What are our behavior and culture goals for next year? How will we know if those are met?

3. Identify a point expectation for your Staff.

It is much easier to check in on fidelity with your staff after setting an expectation. Work with your team to determine how many points staff should be awarding each week and share it with them.

4. Start the year fresh.

Are you transferring student bank account balances to the new year? If so, check to see if there are any students with negative bank account balances. We highly recommend starting them at 0 rather than in the negatives.

5. Find Community Partners to help fund rewards.

Talk with your PTO, local businesses, or even McDonalds to see if they can partner with you to help fund your student rewards or donate items!
