Pop Quiz Time❓
Last month, we introduced the LiveSchool quiz into our newsletter, so you can test your knowledge of LiveSchool and learn something new!
Question: How do you batch print Student Dashboards to send home an individualized report for each student?
Let’s talk about rosters 🤔
Since your school is set up via spreadsheet upload, the students and staff were uploaded into your account, and then you and your staff put them into rosters. The rosters that you created show up under “My Rosters,” but because you’re a Site Leader, you have access to all rosters in your account. Note: If a roster has been hidden, then it won’t show up here until you click “Show Hidden Rosters” in the top left corner.
Go to Setup > Rosters > All Rosters (top middle of the screen) to see all of the rosters that are in your LiveSchool account.
Continuing with the sharing theme, we have new resources for you!
Behavior Rubric Examples
Ever wonder what other schools have on their LiveSchool rubric? Well, the time has come! There are 19 rubrics on our new Behavior Rubric Examples page that show what a school's rubric looks like and explains how and why they set it up that way.
Here are some highlights:
Caddo Hills High School- This year, Caddo Hills created fewer, more generic behavior buttons (compared to past years) and have their teachers use the comment section to add more information. And it’s working! They have increased usage by 48%.
Freedom Crossing Academy- FCA has had a ton of success aligning its PBIS, SEL, and school mission on its LiveSchool rubric. This has helped with buy-in since teachers don’t feel like they’re running 3 different programs.
Del Valle Elementary- Over the past 7 years, the team at Del Valle Elementary have used trial and error to improve their rubric and reduce behavior incidents. The results are an 82% reduction in referrals and a 93% reduction in exclusionary discipline over 5 years.
Turn on the House Points color on the points screen and be on the lookout for opportunities to praise students on the losing team. Here’s how!
3. Pad the points. 😏
You’re in charge when it comes to giving out the points. If you want the competition to be more of a nail-biter, award points to the Houses so that they are closer together. You can do this by creating House Point buttons.
How to Get Help
Our Help Center is full of searchable articles to help with any questions you may have! Here is how you get there:

Pop Quiz Answer…
The Student Dashboard in LiveSchool is an individualized student report that highlights how the student is doing with their behavior. You can customize this report for a specific time period and print it out to send home.
💡 Some of our schools love to send the Student Dashboard home along with progress reports and report cards as a way of showing the students and parents how the student is doing behaviorally as well as academically.
When it comes to printing the Student Dashboard, you can print them one by one or, if you’re wanting the entire class, grade, or whole school, you can batch print a roster! Click here to learn how.
